Ive been meaning to do a post on Dr Lakras work for a while now. He is an artist and tattooist based in Oaxaca, Mexico. Apart from tattooing, his art involves embellishing found images and objects—for instance, dolls, old medical illustrations, and pictures in 1950s Mexican magazines—with macabre or tattoo-style designs.

I spend quite a bit of time trawling tattoo blogs, mostly you just see the same old tattoos over and over again but a tattoo artist that has really caught my eye over the last few months is French artist Guy Le Tatooer.
